BACK TO THE GARDEN:
THE STORY OF WOODSTOCK

Back to the Garden celebrates the spirit of Woodstock in the words of some of the era’s biggest musical stars, as well as those who participated in the festival. From Richie Havens’s legendary opening act to the Who’s violent performance, from the Grateful Dead’s jam to Jefferson Airplane’s wake-up call, culminating in Jimi Hendrix’s career-defining moment, renowned disc jockey Pete Fornatale brings new stories to light and sets the record straight on some common mis-perceptions. Illustrated with black-and-white photographs, Back to the Garden is the authoritative and highly entertaining history of three days of peace and music

Please note that books ordered after April 14th, 2012 will not be signed.

Available Versions

SIMON AND GARFUNKEL'S 'BOOKENDS'

Writing from on-hand experience and exclusive interviews with the duo, Pete Fornatale reveals never-before-disclosed details of the love-hate relationship between the two musicians, and offers a unique perspective on each of them. Bookends captured the duo at the peak of their personal, professional, and artistic partnership in the '60s. The dark clouds and troubled waters that broke them up were still a year and a half away.

There are two versions of 'Bookends' currently available:

Hardcover edition - The hardcover edition of 'Bookends' is now sold out. We will do our best to fill outstanding orders, but no further orders are being taken.

4 CD Audiobook Edition ($24.95)
This 2011 release was Pete Fornatale's first audiobook, and it was one that he and I were both very proud of. The discs are packaged in a DVD-sized case.

Limited edition ($75.00)
This very exclusive version is signed by Art Garfunkel (not personalized). A percentage of sales from this edition will be donated to charitable organizations.
